GUI(Graphical User Interface) as a new kind of Design patent will be patentable in China form May 1,2014.  The follows are some notices：

        1.For GUI design patent, the applicant should submit the view of the design of the whole product.  If the GUI is a dynamic image, the aforesaid view of the design of the whole product in one state should be submitted at least , and the views of key frames views in the other states may be submitted, provided that the views submitted shall be able to unambiguously determine the changing trend of the animation in the dynamic image.
        2.Four kinds of drawings cannot be considered as GUI: the game interface, wallpaper on an electronic screen, an image shown when powered on or of , a text and graphic layout of a webpage of a website.
