With the Grand Opening of the Hong Kong Science Park Shenzhen Branch, the first batch of 16 Hong Kong enterprises and organizations has settled in the park.

On September 7, more than 100 academicians, experts, and industry leaders gathered by the Shenzhen River area to witness the official opening of the Hong Kong Science Park Shenzhen Branch, the first Hong Kong-operated science and technology park in the Mainland jointly funded by the Shenzhen and Hong Kong governments.
